Meet Accented Glory's #BeDifferent natural hair feature is Stella! She is an Ugandan Journalist and Fashion/Life Style Blogger. I am a kink type, and bit by bit I am learning how to take care of my months old natural hair.
Though my hair is coarse, with few hairstylists who have a working knowledge of how to care for kink hair. I do pride about having made the decision to go natural. I love the thick, and healthy look. I do experiment with various styles too, from afro dreads, Bantu knots, one level kink hair do, twists, and more. Majority of people in my country believe that wearing natural hair is a sign of poverty, but I rock it knowing it is a sign of African woman liberation and power.
