I reached out to my customer that was in the film to thank her for wearing my design throughout most of the film. Since then she has sent me film screening photos of herself wearing the design for me to share and we've become Facebook friends. 

Moments like this is what keeps me inspired and motivated as an artist! My customer said the hair accessory design is her favorite and she wears it all the time. If feels great to know I've created something that has become a part of someone's everyday life!

I remember the conversation like it was yesterday. A natural newbie who had "big chopped" and now had a TWA (Teeny Weeny Afro) reached out to me via direct message. She was very proud of herself for taking the plunge and embracing her natural hair, but struggled with the confidence of rocking short hair.
